Live Viewing: The Next Best Thing to A Live!

_AAL3047webThe local concert scene has been booming especially for J-pop and J-rock fans. With the arrival of LiSA last year and One Ok-Rock earlier this year, Filipino fans have been treated to amazing performances from huge Japanese artists. Unfortunately, these artists often have a hectic schedule and cannot always make trips outside the country.

Fortunately, there is an alternative and it’s the next best thing to LIVE!

What is a Live Viewing?

_AAL2940webA Live Viewing is a show beamed via satellite as it happens. In essence, the whole event is streamed to you in real time without the time lag usually associated with regular internet usage. The show is broadcast specifically to these locations only so, unlike a movie that’s shown over and over again, you only have one chance to be part of the action as it happens.

In addition, only select countries and specific locations are considered for these live viewings, making it an exclusive affair that only a few people can experience. With top-of-the-line technology and a surround-sound atmosphere, the Live Viewing turns the cinema into your own personal concert section.

Unlike regular movie screenings, you can also avoid the annoying kid who keeps on crying or kicking the back of your seat or the movie-goer who seems intent on narrating everything before it happens. All the fans in the cinema are all watching the event live as it happens with the same sense of excitement and awe that being in a live concert affords.

Why is Live Viewing Important?

_AAL2968webLive Viewing allows the Japanese record labels to gauge the demand for concerts here in the Philippines. This is a way in which they can decide whether it’s a good investment to bring over Japanese artists to our country. As Lantis is a major record label in Japan, other artists under Lantis such as JAM Project and OLDCODEX could make their way to the Philippines, but only if we all show support and ensure them that there is a huge market here in our country.

Catch GRANRODEO Live Tour 2016 Treasure Candy Live Viewing at 6:00 PM at Cinema 6, SM Cinemas at SM Megamall, Mandalulong City on July 22, 2016. Exclusive merchandise will be available.
